[DDT] is not the abbreviation of
a longer clan name. DDT (Dichloro
Diphenyl Trichloroethane)
was once the world's most widely used insecticide
(discovered 1939). It was used both in agriculture, gardening and even to
protect clothes. However, DDT is not broken down by the body and is considered
harmful to biological systems it is
a chlorinated hydrocarbon, a class of chemicals which often fit the
characteristics necessary for biomagnification. DDT has been forbidden in Sweden since 1970.
The [DDT] clan was formed in the fall of year 1999 by our clan
founder [DDT][Anakonda]. It was originally a CS clan, then Mohaa and Mohaa SH
but today we are open attitude towards other games as well. Apart from CoD2, which
is the dominant game in the clan, some members also play other games.
[DDT] is nowadays regarding CoD/ CoDUO as a “dead/ passé” game,
but we have no rules about which games you play as a member.
Members have come and gone, mostly because of low attendance and lack of communication
in the clan. Today we have no demand that members have to be active match players.
Some members (by own choice) are seen only as “pals and soldiers of fortune“.
Ergo, back to where we started, less seriousness, more fun for everyone.
Clan [DDT] is a group of people
who are interested in computer games online and has not any sympathy, expressed
or implied, for any military or political organisations of the past or present.
The idea behind [DDT] is not only to function as a gaming clan, but to be a
welcoming and reliable place for online gaming. Our server, web site and it's
forum are aimed at both beginners and veterans.
